Global Business Trip – October 2010
StepOne worked on this past Global Business Trip of October 2010, an initiative of Fundacion Banesto, in conjunction with IPEX (Instituto de Promoción Exterior de Castilla-La Mancha). A total of five companies participated in this last trip the Bay Area. Visits for the group were arranged in Google and Facebook, where participants were able to meet with other Spanish entrepreneurs and employees of these leading tech companies, who now call Silicon Valley home.
Other workshops included a pitch compeition and information sessions on internationalization procedures. StepOne worked with the five companies on indivudual agendas taking advantage of partnership opportunities and possibilities in Silicon Valley.
The participating companies included Amaranto Consultores, Tmira Solutions, EarnedMedia (Integralcom), Inspiring Move and Vinos y Recetas.
The Global Business Trip continues to be an outlet for many Spanish companies ranging from those who are contemplating internationalization to those who actively plan to develop their business in the United States. The past GBT Reconnect of October had brought over 60 Spanish companies together, all participants in past trips to the Bay Area.
